We’ll hike through the hills of the Hidden Valley Nature Reserve looking for owls, participating in some specially planned activities and eating cookies and cocoa. Sparks are free – everyone else is $3 each. Look for a flyer this week with the details

Beginning this week, this is our last push to encourage your children to finish their handbooks (or at least a few more discoveries). Winning Sparks color team will be the team that completes the most sections and will be awarded ice-cream from the commander. Winning T&T Girls/Boys–well, they get to “Cream the Commander” or their favorite leader/director/LIT target.

We have a great need for small group leaders. If you have been thinking about serving or would like to fill in a week or two this year, please call me (Chris Ritchie) at 562-244-6460 or track me down on Wednesday. Our primary need is for Cubbies leaders; however, we will be happy to plug you in where you are most comfortable.
