Worship Song Wednesday- Your Love is Amazing

Your love is amazing, steady and unchanging
Your love is a mountain firm beneath my feet
Your love is a mystery how You gently lift me
When I am surrounded Your love carries me

Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Your love makes me sing
Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Your love makes me sing

Your love is surprising I can feel it rising
All the joy that’s growing deep inside of me
Every time I see You all Your goodness shines through
I can feel this God song rising up in me

Yes You make me sing
Lord You make me sing, sing, sing
How You make me sing

Worship Song Wednesday- In Your City

Oh the glorious day when we arrive
And Heaven’s gates are open wide
All our fear and pain will fade away
When we see You face to face
Our great and awesome King
You will reign in brilliant light
Forever glorified in Your city
We Your daughters and Your sons
Will see the Kingdom come
In Your city
Love will reign and joy will have no end
When the saints go marching in
God we pray that You come soon
We were made to be with You
Our great and awesome King
You will reign in brilliant light
Forever glorified in Your city
We Your daughters and Your sons
Will see the Kingdom come
In Your city
When we’ve been there for ten thousand years
Our song will be the same
Praise to the One who has brought us here
Jesus is His name
Jesus is His name

Worship Song Wednesday- Majesty

Here I am humbled by Your majesty

Covered by Your grace so free

Here I am knowing I’m a sinful man

Covered by the blood of the Lamb

Now I’ve found the greatest love of all is mine

Since You laid down Your life

The greatest sacrifice

Majesty majesty

Your grace has found me just as I am

Empty-handed but alive in Your hands

Here I am humbled by the love that You give

Forgiven so that I can forgive

Here I stand knowing that I’m Your desire

Sanctified by glory and fire

Majesty majesty

Forever I am changed by Your love

In the presence of Your majesty majesty

WSW- Let Your Kingdom Come

Your glorious cause, O God, engages our hearts
May Jesus Christ be known wherever we are
We ask not for ourselves, but for Your renown
The cross has saved us so we
Pray Your kingdom come
Let Your kingdom come, let Your will be done
So that everyone might know Your Name
Let Your song be heard everywhere on earth
Till Your sovereign work on earth is done
Let Your kingdom come
Give us Your strength, O God, and courage to speak
Perform Your wondrous deeds
through those who are weak
Lord use us as You want, whatever the test
By grace we’ll preach Your gospel

Till our dying breath

Worship Song Wednesday

As we started last week, here is this week’s installment of Worship Song Wednesday.  Below is a song that we will be singing as part of our worship time tomorrow night at Junior High Bible Study.  We wanted to give you all the opportunity to be able to think about the words to this song before we come together to sing it so that we can all worship the Lord better together!

Also, feel free to leave any “Nuggets” about this song in the comments below.  We want to hear from you!

Here I am to Worship

Light of the world, You stepped down into darkness
Opened my eyes, Let me see
Beauty that made this heart adore You
Hope of a life spent with You
So here I am to worship
Here I am to bow down
Here I am to say that You’re my God
You’re altogether lovely
Altogether worthy
Altogether wonderful to me

King of all days, Oh so highly exalted
Glorious in heaven above
Humbly You came to the earth You created
All for love’s sake became poor
I’ll never know how much it cost
To see my sin upon that cross

Worship Song Wednesday- Better is One Day

As Nathan mentioned this past Sunday, every Wednesday on the Junior High Blog, we are going to be putting up a different worship song for us to think through together! Usually, it will be a song that we’ll be singing the next night at Junior High, but this week we won’t have Junior High tomorrow evening because of Winter Camp.

This is a cool opportunity for us to think through the words of the Songs that we sing, so that we are more gripped in worship as we proclaim these wonderful truths about our Lord!

This week’s song is “Better is One Day.” Enjoy!

How lovely is Your dwelling place, oh Lord Almighty
My soul longs and even faints for You
For here my heart is satisfied (is satisfied), within Your presence
I sing beneath the shadow of Your wings

Chorus:
Better is one day in Your courts
Better is one day in Your house
Better is one day in Your courts
Than thousands elsewhere

One thing I ask and I would seek, (And I would seek), to see Your beauty
To find You in the place Your glory dwells

My heart and flesh cry out, for You the living God
Your spirit’s water for my soul
I’ve tasted and I’ve seen, come once again to me
I will draw near to You, I will draw near to You
