Northpoint is hosting Alfredo Rolando Ortiz in concert to benefit the work of the Corona-Norco Settlement House. Alfredo is a world-renowned harpist. He will be performing with his signature Paraguayan harp on Thursday, May 24, in the Auditorium, at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets/Donations are $10.00 for adults, and $5.00 for children 12 years and under. Tickets can be purchased at the Northpoint Information Center on Sundays after each service, or by contacting the Corona-Norco Settlement House at 951.737.3504. It’s time once again to dust off your walking shoes! Saturday, October 1, is the 13th annual Walk for Life. Join us as we walk to raise awareness and funds for the important life-giving work of Corona Life Services, an organization Northpoint has strongly supported over the years. Their mission is “To reach Corona, Norco and the surrounding communities with information and resources to help them choose life. Our mission also includes, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, teaching and promoting sexual integrity and helping those with past abortions find healing.” Encourage your friends to join you (and us) as we walk! Northpoint has a strong connection with the Headstart Program in Corona. One of the ways we help serve this organization is by having Northpoint volunteers read age appropriate books to the Headstart students during the school year. Recently Northpoint volunteer Mike Brooks had the opportunity to read “in costume”. Mike dressed up as “The Cat in the Hat” during a special reading theme highlighting Dr. Seuss. Mike has been reading to two classes each week and we have room (and a request) to add other volunteers to read one day a week to a class of eager and appreciative 4 year olds.
