As we wrapped up our study through 2 Corinthians, we came upon 13:7. It starts with a very simple and very powerful command.
“Now we pray to God that you do no wrong”
What about this simple thought can be so revolutionary? Can we, as men who find all of our identity and hope in the Cross of Jesus really be helped by such simple teaching? Yes… deeply!
Give this a try and see what it does to you. On a sticky pad, write the following.
“Good only in Jesus. Do no wrong.”Stick it on your dashboard and as you get into the car, before turning on your radio. Talk to the Lord about this. “Good only in Jesus” reminds us of the context of the book of 2 Corinthians. “Do no wrong” is a simple command from God to you. Commit your way to the Lord on the way to work and the way home and see what happens when you walk in the Spirit (Gal 5:16).
ps. you may skip 13:12

Scott: this is great. Short, sweet and to the point. May the Lord bless you with joy and peace and love of family and Church. Bob klymkowych
