ANNUAL STUDENT MINISTRY PARENT B.B.Q.

he Annual Student Ministry Parent B.B.Q. is coming May 19, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. All parents of students who will be in junior high and high school for the 2011-2012 school year are invited to learn about Student Ministries for the upcoming year.

Bob Jandro will be making a triumphant return to the SM grill (no PAM will be left in sight!), offering up hotdogs and hamburgers. The Student Ministry Team will also provide salads and sodas.

We’ll be starting sign-ups for Summer Camps with fabulous early-bird discounts available (see below), so be sure to bring your checkbooks! We’ll also be drawing for $25 camp scholarships.

For more information, contact Carolee Jefferson at 951.281.2818.

Summer Bonfire

On Saturday, July 31st we’ll be having a bonfire at Huntington Beach together.  Mark your calendars and be watching for flyers with more details coming soon!

Servant’s Bootcamp

Tuesday through Thursday, August 3-5th, we’ll be gathering for an in-depth-time of training and planning for service in the coming year.  We’ll be evangelizing, serving, and strategizing during this fun time that will be extremely beneficial for your student.  It will be from 10am-3pm each day and will cost $15 and will include breakfast and lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday.  A Northpoint permission slip is required and please sign-up in advance.  Your student can either sign up on a Tuesday or Sunday Senior High Bible Study, or in the church office during the week.

HOT SUMMER NIGHTS

This week our Hot Summer Nights Bible Study will be held at the LaValle’s Home (3590 Garretson Ave, Corona, CA 92881) from 7-9pm.  Our very own Jay Hobbs will be teaching on student’s relationships to parents as a part of our “Relate” summer series.  We’ll also be enjoying swimming, worship and fellowship together.  We’ll hope to see your student there!

Pray for Our Students

Tonight is an important night at camp. Aaron is bringing the message of Redemption right now and is preaching powerfully. Pray for soft hearts and open eyes.
