In the next hour, twelve Christians will surrender their lives because of their allegiance to Jesus. According to the U.S. Department of State, Christians in more than sixty countries face persecution from their governments or surrounding neighbors simply because of their belief in Christ. There’s something very powerful that we can do to help: pray.
Christian churches around the world have set apart the month of November to pray for the persecuted church through the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church (IDOP). Sunday evening, November 10, at 6:30 p.m. at the Van Dyne Gym at CBU, churches from Corona, Norco, and Riverside will be gathering to worship God and intercede on behalf of those who are suffering throughout the world. Please consider joining us.
