A Message to our NP K!DS

Northpoint K!DS’ “Big Group Time”

Hello NP K!D’S and Families,

Now that we’re back to meeting at Northpoint for Sunday school, we’re going to scale back our online “Sunday school”–just a bit!  Instead of posting a video each week with me, Tri, and one of our amazing teachers, we’re going to do one for the whole month. However, you’ll still be able to watch the Gospel Project’s video for each week’s lesson. Take a look below!

The people were happy to see Jesus. They knew He was their King. Jesus came riding on a donkey🐎, just as the prophet Zachariah said He would. (Zechariah 9:9) One day Jesus will come back, riding on a white horse as King over everything. (Revelation 19:11) It doesn’t get more exciting than that k!ds!!

PAUL PREACHED IN EUROPE

1 Video

Watch some cool turtles with water a-flowing around them. Sing with Lily and Mr. Tri about the River of life flowing out of us.

Review last week’s story with Miss Terri and hear what we are planning for you at Northpoint.

2. Read 📖

Read this week’s bible lesson with your parents. Paul Preached in Europe (Acts 17:16-33)

3. Lesson Outline Video

Watch this week’s lesson outline video of Paul Preached in Europe.

Paul taught the people in Athens about the one true God. He told them that Jesus died on the cross and is alive!

How do people hear about Jesus? God uses Christians to tell others about Jesus.

God wants us, like Paul, to tell people about Jesus so they can know God and be brought into His family.

4. Memorize this months Memory Challenges

2 Corinthians 5:17 If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold the new has come. 🐦

MARCH 14 – MARCH 20

PAUL’S SECOND JOURNEY

There are five challenges for you to do below:

1. Let’s check out what’s going on in Mrs. Terri’s office and watch some hummingbirds and Buck, the cat. Then, you can get into our bible review and story, by Teacher Debbie and Teacher Mark, and finish by singing about the river of life flowing out of us with Mr. Tri. Keep it flowing kids!🌫

2. Watch this week’s lesson video outline of  Paul’s Second Journey (16:11-34)

3. Open your Bibles with your parents and enjoy reading Acts 16:11-34, and then answer these questions:

1. Why did Paul and Silas go to the river? (Acts 16:13)
2. What was the name of the woman at the river? (Acts 16:14)
3. What happened to Lydia and her household? (Acts 16:15)
4. How did the servant girl make money for her owners? (Acts 16:16)
5. What did the servant girl say about Paul and Silas? (Acts 16:17)
6. What did the girl’s owner do to Paul and Silas? (Acts 16:19)

7. What were Paul and Silas doing while in prison? (Acts 16:25)

8. What caused the prison doors to open and prisoner’s chains to come loose? (Acts 16:25)

9. What did Paul and Silas say the jailer needed to do to be saved? (Acts 16:31) 📣Say it out loud!

In today’s story, Lydia, the jailer, and many others were saved because they heard the gospel and believed in Jesus. Paul and Silas preached the same message to all people, no matter who they were: “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved.” Who will you tell about Jesus this day? ______March’s Memory Challenges

MARCH 7 –  MARCH 13

THE MESSAGE: “CHRIST ALONE”

There are five challenges for you to do below:

1. Let’s start by looking at the sky God gave us to enjoy. Then, we can sing in our minds or our hearts or our voices as we worship God the whole time with Mr. Tri. We will review and hear from our teacher, Mrs. Holt, who will teach this week’s truth to us. 📖

2. Watch this week’s lesson video outline of The Message: “Christ Alone” (Acts 15:1-35)

3. Open your Bibles with your parents and enjoy reading Acts 15:1-35, and then answer these questions:🤔 Have fun seeing if you can answer the questions without looking at the answers below. 😁

1. Who had Paul and Barnabas been teaching about Jesus? Jews, Gentiles, or both?

2. What kind of rules did some people think the Gentiles should follow?

3. What did God give the Gentiles who believed the good news about Jesus?

4. Can anyone obey God’s rules/laws perfectly?

5. How are both Jews and Gentiles saved? Look up Ephesian 2:8-9 and say it out very loud! 📣

1. = Both 2.= The same rules as the Jews. 3. = The Holy Spirit 4. = No 5.= We are saved by God’s grace, not by being a good girl or a good boy.

In this week’s story, the message for the Gentiles believers was important: Whether Jew or Gentile, salvation comes only through faith in Christ. No one is saved by the law but by grace alone. While the Bible does give us plenty of rules or instructions for how to live, sinners are made right with God only by the grace of Jesus. God loves us so much that He gives rules that are what is best for us. Salvation is a gift. To receive this gift, 🎁Jesus is all we need.
