CloseEven wise men can be stumped. For example, even Agur, King Solomon’s ostensible court counselor, admitted to four things he couldn’t comprehend: how an eagle soars through the sky, how a snake slithers on a rock, how a ship sails through the ocean, and how a man lives with a woman in an understanding way. And yet, the last example is exactly what God calls every husband to do, so that the world might be attracted to this alternate society (called Christianity), and thereby embrace the gospel of grace.
