NP Forum Women’s CHAT Room April 1
Ladies. … Have you ever had to ask yourself, should I, as a believer, attend my family/friend’s same-sex wedding? Or how about this: Which pronoun should I use when talking to my friend or family member? We have all of the LGBTQIA+ issues, the sanctity of life issues, critical race theory issues, and defund the police issues. We live in a day and age where being a believer in Christ means being perceived as judgmental and intolerant. So where is that line? That line between standing firm in the truth of God’s Word and loving a lost world with the love of Jesus. What are the practical ways of being a friend to the world, going to Zacchaeus’ house without jumping in bed with Jezebel? The answer lies in our hearts. Do we want to “fix the issues of the world,” making sure that everyone knows what is sin and how we feel about it, or do we long to show Jesus to a lost and broken world?
These are the things we women will be chatting about in a new ministry called The Chat Room. Join us for our first gathering, Loving Right in a World Gone Wrong, on April 1, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., in Heritage Hall, as speakers Martha Harding and Laura Miller from Grace Baptist Church in Santa Clarita come and talk to us about the biblical principles of loving the crazy world that we live in and some of the more specific applications of what that looks like.
