Welcome to the Wonderful World of Jr. High!

I’m excited to have your student entering Northpoint Student Ministries and wanted to welcome you by giving you some information about what’s coming soon! Please take some time to read over each event and mark it down on your calendar. If you have any questions or want some more information, you can always reach me through email at jclubb@northpointcorona.org or call at 951.734.1335 ext. 2826. Here’s what’s coming up for you and your student:

Student Ministry BBQ – June 7. This is the kick-off event to our year and the time that we fill you in on everything you’ll want to know about Northpoint Student Ministries. We provide the food, take time to give you an overview of our ministry, answer questions you might have, and you’ll have an opportunity to meet your student’s small group leader and spend some time getting to know them personally. Don’t miss out!

Graduation Sunday – June 10. This is the big day of moving from 6 grade Sunday School into our Junior High Ministry. Junior High meets each Sunday during the 10:40am service in T-202.  It has been our tradition in the JH ministries of Northpoint to put on a “secret kidnapping” of the graduating 6 grade students to celebrate their entrance into Junior High Ministries.  We have found this to be a great time of helping new students feel welcomed and comfortable in the group.  On the morning of Sunday, June 10, our JH staff will be carrying out this year’s “ secret kidnapping”, also known as “Project  Top Secret”.   The Staff will be going to homes to pick up your students and take them to the church campus.  We will eat breakfast and introduce them to the JH ministry of Northpoint.   Last year’s 7 graders will be there as well, to get to know the new students. The purpose of this morning is to provide a fun, welcoming time for the upcoming 7 graders, to get to know the staff and students, and to see what they have to look forward to. PLEASE call Carolee Jefferson at 951.281.2818 or email cjefferson@northpointcorona.org as soon as possible if you would like your student to participate.  Each student will need a Northpoint permission slip before being picked up.
