Can Our Church Please God?
1 Thessalonians 4:1-12

Introduction: Can a believer please God? Or can a church bring delight to God? Many people don’t think so. A. W. Tozer once said, “From a failure to properly understand God comes a world of unhappiness among good Christians even today. The Christian life thought to be a glum, unrelieved cross-carrying under the eye of a stern Father who expects much and excuses nothing. He is austere, peevish, highly temperamental and extremely hard to please.” However, the apostle Paul lays forth a vision for pleasing God through our joy in him and our walk of faith.
